Spetses island stands just a few kilometres from mainland Peloponnese, but there is a stronger sense of carefree island Greece here than in other Saronic Gulf destinations. The lively, historic old town is the only village on the island; the rest, ringed by a simple road, is rolling hills, pine forests, and crystal-clear coves. With a rich naval history, it is still incredibly popular with yachties, and with its vibrant culture, it attracts artists, intellectuals and lovers of a good island party.
This wedding took place at Agios Georgios church, at the edge of the Zogeria cove and carried on at Zogeria Beach.
The beach of Zogeria is located in a lovely cove covered by a dense, verdant pine forest. For the locals, Zogeria is the most beautiful beach of Spetses and nothing comes close to it. Sand, rocks and pebbles board the cove and descend into the deep, sapphire waters. For the couple and their guests was simply the place to be!
